I've had some problems with my XOne gamepad (wired) under Win10 (during game, right stick and some keys stop working), so after searching for solution in the web, I've found out that disabling some related entry in the HID group in Device Manager might help.So in the DM I've found that my gamepad shows itself as XBox Controller in XBox Peripherals group and as two entries in HID group:
- XINPUT compatible HID device
- USB input device (my translation here, I'm not sure how it's described in english version)
How to use an Xbox One controller on PC. Windows should install the necessary driver, the Xbox Guide button in the center will light up, and you're in business! And enable or disable. 3) Expand the branch Microsoft Xbox One Controller. 4) Right-click on the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select Update driver (On lower Windows 10 versions, select Update Driver Software). 5) Click Search automatically for updated driver software. Then Windows will install the new driver for the device.
Disabling XINPUT did nothing, so I've enabled it again, then I've disabled the other entry (USB input device). After that, both entries disappeared, system don't recognize it when I connect the gamepad to PC (no clinky noise :/ ) and ofcourse, it does not work in game at all.

Do you know any way to reenable this device?I've tried View->Show hidden devices, but even if those are there (I see both, or rather I see 1 XINPUT and about 20 USB Input devices), context menu of any of those entries does not have an 'Enable device' option.

For some devices, uninstalling with the device disconnected, rebooting, and then plugging in the device lets Windows find and install the drivers correctly.. though I've not tried it with that gamepad.

I have an Xbox One Elite controller and today I noticed moving the stick scrolls in default windows apps. I have no apps installed that would allow this behavior (xpadder, joy2key, gopher, etc). I am in the 'Release Preview' channel of the insider program so I'm not sure if this was a new update or what.

Turns out it was the new Steam 'Xbox Configuration Support' feature. I disabled it and now the controller doesn't do anything in Windows and all my games work again.

Mp3 song download tamil movie songs. If you want to keep Steam's 'XBox configuration support' enabled (which is useful for things like calibrating dead zones + some games require it) and still disable the controllers from controlling your mouse and keyboard:
- From the steam main application (not Big Picture) click 'Steam' inthe upper left corner
- Click 'settings'
- Click the 'controller' tab
- Click Desktop Configuration
- Select each of the fields that say for example 'Mouse button 1' or 'Left ctrl' and use your xbox controller to press the button for 'remove' (I had some issues using the mouse in this menu). Some fields have sub-fields and you need to remove those too.
- Press the back button (default: (B) ) on your controller until you exit the special menu.
- You're all done :)
